Summer

Dubrovnik is not a typical party city but something is happening every night during the summer even though some tourists do not get informed and afterwords they complain about the lack of night life. Apart from the clubs and bars mentioned in the winter section (which all work more than well during the summer) there is EAST-WEST beach club located at main city beach – Banje with different programs every night and very popular place by all Dubrovnik Visitors. For those with higher budget there is a Labirint bar with attractive dancers and various shows, and for romantic couples there is Buza bar, located on the very cliffs outiside the Old town walls behind the Dubrovnik Cathedral with spectaular ambient overlooking the open sea and passing boats. is something going on in some other part of Dubrovnik, so there is Pile night, Porporela night, the night of Babin kuk, where there is live music, food and drinks, dancing and fun untill early morning hours. Winter

If you find yourself in Dubrovnik during winter time (or late fall and early spring for that matter) and it is not some special day for people of Dubrovnik (such as St. Blasius day, Carnival, Christmas or New Years), it all comes down to Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursdays is generally a student party night with student parties in dosens of bars (the popularity of each bar varies from time to time so it is best to ask when in the city about which place is in at the time) untill some midnight or 1 in the morning where all people pour to one of the two clubs (or at both since they are both rather small and only 5 mins walk apart) – Latino Club Fuego and Revelin Club. Both have special offers for students and other guests on Thursdays and it can get pretty hot there at some Thursdays (or better to say Friday morning). Friday in Winter is the night where locals go outside the city either to Srebreno (10 km east of Dubrovnik, where there are 3 or 4 bars and clubs playing mostly house and disco music, or they can chose to go west of the city center for some 15 km

to the villages of Zaton and Mrcevo where than can enjoy themselves listening and dancing with Croatian music (more fun for the locals than tourists actually).
Saturday, as in every city is the night where all the working people go out, Old city and its bars (you should check Galerija, Irish Pub, Casablanca) are their main destination, everthing starting rather late at 11 o'clock at night (Dubrovnik people go to some dinner before that or just drink at home), than around 2 in the morning everything moves to Capitano bar just outside the Pile gate (west entrance to the Old City) and for those who have the will it continues to Latino Club untill 5, 6 in the morning.
