Dubrovnik Airport is located 22 km south east of Dubrovnik and 6 km east of Cavtat. If you are staying in the city of Dubrovnik you can either take taxi, rent-a-car or take a shuttle bus.
Shuttle buses (and this is as of this season) take you to the main bus terminal which is in Port of Gruz and it costs 35 kn or 5 EUR per pax. Shuttle schedule canges acording to the outbound and incoming flights of Croatia Airlines. We will try to keep you updated with schedule HERE.
Taxi is ard 220-300 kn 30-40 EUR, depending where in Dubrovnik do you intend to go and there are plenty at the airport. Do ask for the price before entering one.

TIPS:

• If you are staying in private accommodation, many owners come to pick up their guests at the airport, and the prices of pickup are ard 15-30 EUR (or free of charge if you are staying for longer time in some accommodation)
• If you are staying in Old City or Pile / Ploce area (inner center of the city) and you plan to rent a car, please beware that it is going to be very expensive for you to park (1 hour of parking is 10 kn or 1,30 EUR, and there is NO free parking in that area unless your hotel has a garage or your apartment owner does not provide you with one for free.

The port of Dubrovnik is located in Gruz area, around 5 km from the Old Town (historical canter). Both domestic and international arrivals/departures are in the same place.
Just outside the port there is bus station where bus number 1a or 1b going in east direction takes you directly to the Old Town. The bus frequency is every 10-15 mins. You must buy the bus ticket in news stand or have small croatian change to pay the driver (10 kn).
Taxi to the old Town is ard 50-60 kuna.

TIPS:

• If you buy the ticket at the newsstand it is 8 kn, if you buy it in the bus it is 10 kn.
• Bus ticket is valid for 1,5 hours so you can switch buses in order to get where you want in the city.
• Beware of large number of soliciters trying to persuade you to take their private accommodation on the street. Check the location and room pictures first so that you do not get dissapointed later.

If you are coming by bus/coach, you will find yourself on the bus terminal in Gruz, right next to the port. Please read the previous section for the instructions.
If you are coming by car, just follow the street marks, it should not be problem to find part of the city where you wish to go to.

TIPS:

• Do not leave your car on unmarked parking spaces along the main roads since it would be towed away and the fine is around 700 kn (100 EUR).
• Not a single car was stolen in Dubrovnik for years so you do not have to worry too much about being the first.
