The ambient of the festival’s events becomes ever so interesting because of the locations of the performances. So you can enjoy the music events in the Rector’s Palace built in the 14th century, or for an example on fortress Lovrijenac and Revelin, but there are different events all over the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Some even on the island of Lokrum, believed to be cursed – read all about it here. This year, visitors will be able to enjoy three premieres, the opera Orlando and two theatre plays: Messrs. Glembay and Victory Over the Enemies. There are also returns of La bottega del caffe and Othello, both shows loved by the audience. Furthermore, you can attend a couple of other theatre plays, quite a few music events and ballet.
