We all know that Russia is a big country with a great history. Dubrovnik by contrast is a small town, though with a major history and legends of its own that can tell you a lot about what it means to be Croatian. An exhibition entitled “Orenburg, lace world heritage” will open on Saturday the 17th of December in the Pulitika Studio in Dubrovnik.
The exhibition is a joint project between the Art Gallery Dubrovnik and the Art Museum of Orenburg, Russia. On this exhibition you can learn a little bit about Russia. Visitors to the exhibition will have the unique opportunity to experience this fascinating part of Russia’s cultural history, the lace delights of Orenburg. At the opening of the exhibition, which will be on Saturday at midday, the Croatian–Russian society “Art without Borders” will perform Russian music.
The exhibition will remain open until Sunday the 29th of January 2017.
