Ever wanted to come visit Dubrovnik in the off-season to beat the crowds and couldn’t find a flight? Well, yay for you (and us) you’ll now find even more flight connections to Dubrovnik this coming winter!!

Visiting us in the summer has its perks (hello beaches!), but coming to see one of Croatia’s most-visited hot-spots when the summer crowds have dissipated has maybe even more to offer. For one, you’ll find more locals on the famous Stradun than you will camera-wielding day-trippers. It may not be exactly ice-cream weather, but you can enjoy gelato in peace and watch the world go by.

14 new direct flights to Dubrovnik have been announced for the 2016 winter. Dubrovnik will become connected with Frankfurt & Istanbul three time a week. Our neighbors in Rome will be making drop-offs four times a week and a big shout out to Barcelona, who will now fly twice a week to Dubrovnik.

Are you excited?

It’s not yet exactly known when it will be final, but it also looks like British Airways will have two direct flights a week from London to Dubrovnik.

If you’re planning a trip to Dubrovnik this winter, check out our photo guide. Without the crowd, taking a photo of this gorgeous city is easy, but even better, when we can show you a few secret tips – and you’ll have far fewer chances of being photo bombed. We suggest you to book your trip around St Blaise Day. Each February, Dubrovnik comes alive to honor the town’s patron saint, Saint Blaise. With more flights you can join the local festivities. Bring your coat and see you in Dubrovnik this winter.
