Music is for everyone who wants to hear a great sound of joy. We recommend that you find that precious sound in Dubrovnik, on Sentimento Festival by Croatian best tenor, Markos Stijepo Gleđ.
„With his charismatic performances he seized the attention of audience and accomplished magnificent entrance into the music scene already in the early stage of his career. His natural singing and acting talent, and unique vocal coloration made him the best choice for leading roles in theatres Marin Drzic in Dubrovnik and Komedija in the capital of Croatia. He played hundreds of performances where he practiced and perfected his artistry in vocal training with former leader soloist of Croatian National Opera Stojan Stojanov Gancev“, says Goran Pelaic, Music Critic and Publicist for the main organizaton of this special Festival.
International Cultural Education and Rehabilitation Festival Sentimento has periods and stations in Croatia, but the main concert will be held in Dubrovnik, on June 21st in front of the Cathedral. The aim of the Festival is to use music and sound for the rehabilitation of persons with special needs and to integrate them in the community where they contribute and interact as artists and creators. This will be accomplished thanks to the assistance of teachers and music therapists who helped composing the music pieces that are now performed by the world’s renowned musicians. Since June 21st is World Music Day, the timing of this festival couldn’t be more perfect. The festival is hosted by tenor Markos, who will perform some of the most beautiful arias, classics and evergreens, accompanied by Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Olja’zz band and guests concert classical band Nota Benne and French singer Anna Eaves. The special guest of this big concert is a singer, songwriter and peace activist Nenad Bach, who will perform a new composition that’s created in music workshops with people with special needs.
Associates of the great festival are world-renowned experts and humanitarians whose talent shows the true meaning of musical art, the talent that sends the call for love and communion. Therefore, Sentimento is continuing its collaboration with professor Nigel Osborne; a player, composer, musician and the world’s leading music teacher who stands out in the rehabilitation of music. You can be a part of this beautiful concert in Dubrovnik on June 21st, at 9PM and enjoy the world-renowned music. The best thing about the whole story is that you will be helping those who need it the most by attending this magnificent charity event.
